An Ancient Prophecy.
A Warrior's Destiny.
One Kingdom's Fate.
The forgotten legend of the Kingdom of Otuo — finally written.
Before modern nations. Before colonial borders. The Otuo kingdom of Edo State had warriors, laws, and a prophecy that shaped every marriage, every battle, every life. Now the legend is written — for the world to read.
The Age-Long Prophecy
"A small boat shall be made from a big boat. The big boat will wade through many rivers and will always get to its shores. The destiny of one separates them from being one. One day the big boat shall come back to its shores only to sink there; the two boats shall be destroyed — utterly destroyed."
— Idumoziren, The Great Oraclist of Otuo
The Story
A Legend Passed Down Through Generations
In the proud kingdom of Otuo, no name is spoken with more reverence than Obokhuai — the warrior they call one who eats fire. From the warrior clan of Azama, he has led his people through impossible battles and earned a place in legend that even children recite with perfect accuracy.
But hanging over his bloodline is a prophecy as old as the kingdom itself. When the Ogbaga raiders invade and Obokhuai is too old to lead, a stranger named Izemuze arrives from a distant land. His face is Obokhuai's face. And within him lives the answer to a prophecy that will shatter everything the warrior clan believed about rivers, destiny, and blood.
"Give me a thousand swords — and I will free Otuo."
